- Answer Extended warranty covers all but owner.vandalism and theft. You could see if a third party warranty is offered from somewhere like hp or even a tech deep in the know,, but average is about 20 to 30 dolars for up to 15 devices. For popular brands.

QuestionI’m very interested in purchasing! (just a shame there isn’t preorder lol) Will there be any other accessories needed to be purchased in order to use the VR effectively? Like extra wires or plug ins? I plan on playing games from Steam as well as Oculus

- Answer It's very common to find the default headstrap uncomfortable after a while so getting a headstrap replacement will drastically help improve your VR experience for a long time. The base battery for the Quest 2 lasts around 2 hours so getting an extension on the battery such as using the Elite Strap with battery or using a powerbank. You can play Steam VR games wired using a USB-C to USB-C cable or wireless using Oculus Airlink or Virtual Desktop but you might notice a slight lag. If you really want to go above and beyond, you can buy face covers, replacements and other accessories from reputable 3rd party stores like VRCover and Kiwi.

- Answer Not necessarily, you can use the built-in Oculus Store. You can use Steam to play PC VR games that are not available on the Oculus Store.

QuestionIve had the device for almost 3 years and it no longer will charge when plugged in. It's dead and i can't utilize it. Does the device/internal battery stop charging after a couple of years resulting in having to purchasea new one?

- Answer There shud be one, yes! but where I live they have one where u try it out but its not wrking I don’t knw why… so I bought mines and it’s the best decision i did !!! It’s really enjoyable it’s like ur in a different world i love mines! U literally can do anything with it,,, even watch a movie and it feels like ur in the movie it’s the best I recommend!!

- Answer PS5 has their own VR headset that is compatible. The Quest 2 can connect to a PC using steam link but I’ve found it to work best as a stand alone console.

- Answer So, I haven’t gotten the quest3, but I do know how awesome the 2 is. Now that it’s cheaper, it’s definitely puts it ahead of the 3 based on $$$. If you plan to play often, then, maybe go for the Q3. The games available are the same for both 2&3, so it’s kind of up to what you really care about and then choose. Hope this helps. (I will get the Q3 one day; but I’m not rushing to switch for awhile and until the Q3 price drops

- Answer No. If you have game pass like I do you can hook an Xbox coplay on the cloud and you'll be playing on a big screen. You can change the size of the screen to. It's really convenient when you don't really have a TV to yourself.
