Need? Nothing really. But the premium head strap is comfy. And there is a battery you can add that attaches to the back that will almost double play time and balances it better on your head,

I would stay away from ones with batteries as none are not strong enough to keep it charged, they only cause it to drain slower. Get any headstrap and then the Kiwi battery mount, or a piece of velcro and foam and add a 10-20,000mah battery pack to the back. If you have any other questions reach out at beacons.ai/cryptids_den

Expect battery life without power saving mode to range from just a bit over an hour to around two hours tops depending on the app. A head-strap with battery extension works well. Make sure you do some research on finding what will work for you because most of them are better in some regard and some have issues. Silicone cover/interface is not required but helps will keeping sweat off the fabric. Extended use of the fabric without cleaning can cause skin/oils to cake onto it and it may smell funky. Eye cover is great for storage as it prevents excessive dust build up on top of protect from screen burns from accidental prolonged sun exposure. Active Straps are fairly options but you may want to consider getting them if you play games with that require quick or rapid movements. The fact you can let go of the controller and it still be in your hand is both good and bad, so that's something to consider. The sound quality of the built-in speakers are decent but if you want some noise isolation or privacy, in ear buds work well. I hear the amplification by the headset is something to be desired so some on-ear headphones may not be loud enough but it won't hurt to check if what you already have is sufficient. I know there are some wireless buds you can use, look for ones certified for meta quest or VR. The wireless earbuds usually have USB-c interface with another port to daisy-chain a sync/charge cable.
