• A:Answer The battery does not detach from the elite strap. I was wondering the same thing before purchasing. I was a tad concerned because of the added weight, but since using this product I’ve found that it’s much lighter than the headset itself, and if anything it helps balance out and make the headset feel less heavy on the front of my head.

• A:Answer I have not tried it, but I doubt that you can since the pieces that you connect the strap to are smaller on the Quest 2. It would probably not snap on properly and end up making the headset fall off.

Q: QuestionI'm looking for a Link Cable that will work with the Meta Quest 3 Elite Strap with battery. I have tried a couple of different ones and they do not charge the battery or my computer doesn't recognize it.

• A:Answer In my research, the Elite Strap with Battery doesn't have data pass through functionality, just like with the Quest 2 and its version. Basically, your options are to unplug the battery and use the Link Cable, or use AirLink.
