This controller uses two AA batteries (included), however you may also use a rechargeable battery pack designed for use with Xbox Series X/S controllers such as the Xbox Rechargeable Battery and USB-C Cable for Xbox Series X/S. A rechargeable battery pack designed for Xbox One controllers may also be used, however you will need to get a standard USB-C cable since this controller is not compatible with micro-USB.

• It will work with xbox one and series S/X rechargeable packs. As long as the battery cover is for the correct controller (xbox one controllers and series S/X have different battery covers.
