• A:Answer I used it with a SurfacePro4 and it seems to work fine. It is the same OEM design and breaks the same way (twists and breaks the thin inside conductors) should have a strain relief. This is my third one, always breaks in the same place (about 1/2" from the magnetic latch). I don't think it is aftermarket, it has MicroSoft name on it, just poor design.
