• I charged it on my computer, if I remember correctly the logo in the center of the controller turned off once it was done charging.

• So, the real answer is that you can't. The Xbox game bar always shows the battery as critical (changed controllers, cables and batteries with the same result). The only way to see the actual charge is under Bluetooth devices, as Microsofts software doesn't work, per usual.

• Since this rechargeable battery pack does not have a LED light to show whether it is charging or charged, you may press the Xbox button on your controller while it's in use to open the guide and see the current battery charge status in the top-right of the screen.
