NO it does not, it is a real blue tooth device, just insert the battery, hold the little button on the bottom of the mouse until its starts blinking.... now it's in paring mode and is visible on your Bluetooth enabled device.

There is no bluetooth dongle supplied in the package. If your laptop/desktop does not support bluetooth, you can purchase any bluetooth usb adapter and if the adapter works with your laptop/desktop it will work with the mouse.
