Yes, you can use a CAC card reader with the tablet to connect to your military/government sites. I spent 15 years in the Navy and now I'm a DOD Civilian. I have a CAC reader I purchased a CAC reader at Best Buy and it works fine. You have to go to this site http://militarycac.com/cacdrivers.htm and follow the installation instructions. Also keep in mind that Windows 10 defaults to the Microsoft Edge Browser. A lot of the government and military sites are not compatible with Microsoft Edge. So, when you open Microsoft Edge type the website name into the Edge Browser but then on the 3 dots on the top right of the Edge Browser and select Open With Internet Explorer. You will be good to go. I use it to access my .mil sites and OWA / Reachback for my government email account.
