A:AnswerYou can install any Windows program that you want along with download apps from the app store. Unlike the previous Surface RT and Surface 2 tablets, this runs the full version of Windows (actually the 64-bit version of Windows 8.1) and can be upgraded to Windows 10 for free. You could even install iTunes on this if you wanted to.
A:AnswerHello there,
The Surface 3 tablet is perfect for college students. Record a lecture with your rear-facing camera or use split screen to record and take notes at the same time.
I hope this was helpful to you.
A:AnswerThis device will be eligable to upgrade to windows 10. In fact, just about ANY devices running windows 8, 8.1, or even windows 7 are all eligable for upgrade to windows 10
A:AnswerHello there,
There are larger GBs of Surface models available. It really depends on how big your working files are. Also, you can use OneDrive to store your working files in the cloud so you can work with them from any PC.
I hope this was helpful to you.
A:AnswerYou are correct. It's been listed as being 1920X1080 on multiple websites, I'm guessing they are just messing up because 1080p is a more common resolution than 1920X1280. People just have 1080p on their minds whenever they see "1920" in terms of resolution.
A:AnswerAs long as there is a Wi-Fi hotspot of any kind, it will recognize it and connect to it if you desire. There is not a data plan, however, if that's what you're asking.

A:AnswerIt depends on what the typical usage would be for the student.
Assuming you want the student to use the tablet for school work, my daughter (freshman in college) uses it to access textbook and do her homework.
I like it because it can replace the notepad.
It would also depend on whether the school/teachers would permit this device in the classroom.
For everyday use like social network or games, Apple i-somethings or Android devices integrate the 'tablet mode' better
A:AnswerNo it wont. The higher models can handle video editing decent but didn't do anything too major although did give me somewhat of a issue running indesign.
Just on bigger projects but thats when running illustrator along with it.
For the.money I would suggest going for a laptop with better spec's that's if you don't mind the minor issues.
But again the atom version wont do. Look at the pro's for that.
