QuestionWhat is the battery life on this item? I have seen a few negative reviews on Microsoft site that it is advertised to last for up to 17 hours, but it only lasts for about 4.

- Answer With the tablet attached to the keyboard i get about 10 or more hours. Though I am a very heavy user with 10 chrome tabs open, Firefox, Netflix, and VMs going in the background. With the tablet unattached from the keyboard I get about 1.5 to 2 hours. Again, this is with heavy use. Tablet only battery life sucks. Attached to the keyboard is great.
