- Answer Hello! I was in the same lookout when I began classes this past semester. This computer is perfect and has a very long-lasting battery life! Haven't had any problems with it. It is also very practical and fast.

QuestionWhy did my $1300 Surface 4 completely die after 14 months and why is there no way to repair it, through The Geeks or elsewhere? Also, why can't I change my 5 start review to a 1? Shortest lifespan of any laptop I have ever owned. Total garbage.

- Answer No, but there is an adapter you can plug in that does. The adapter I bought has 3 USB ports, 1 Ethernet port, 1 HDMI port, 1 Mini SD port and 1 SD port.

- Answer No, it does not include Word. You will have to buy a 365 subscription or buy Microsoft Office. There are other vendors that offer a word document application for free. Open Office has been around for years and is great for personal use. There is also Google Docs - but you will need a google account. You can use these applications to access and modify document is in MS Word.
