• A:Answer It depends. Are you planning to do alot of solid state modelling or 3D rendering? If so, you should find a with a better graphics card. This Surface device has an entry-level graphics system, so if you're going to be designing complicated parts in 3D and rotating them around, shading them, etc - find a different laptop. If you plan on just doing 2 dimensional work - I think this laptop would be fine. The Memory, Processor and Disk are good - it's more about the requirements of your Engineering software package.

• A:Answer Yes, it does! :) But....Windows 11 has so many technical issues which were NOT detected before the release. Based on my knowledge at this moment Windows 11 is NOT compatible with many older programs and apps. It is also causing a lot of issues when login thru remote access to or from your computer. That's why I sticked to Windows 10 for now till they will figure out. Good Luck!

• A:Answer There is not a dock that you snap the machine into - those are really going away. What you do now is purchase a media hub that usually connects via USB-C to your device. The media hub usually has 5-10 various ports for monitors, peripherals, etc. Depending on the hub you purchase - it could possibly power the laptop - but mostly likely you'll also need to plug in a power cord to your laptop as well. Overall, you just have 2 things to plug into the laptop and you're good to go.

• A:Answer "Size" has nothing to do with it; it's the hardware requirements that count. You can get it by going to the MS website and searching "upgrade to Windows 11," or you can wait for it to be offered like any other periodic update, If you are unsure whether the specific PC you are interested in can be upgraded, both procedures outlined above will produce a response from Microsoft whereby MS will check your computer for acceptable parameters, and will even tell you if some upgrades will allow for the upgrade if your PC is not immediately compatible.

• A:Answer Webroot can be downloaded and installed with a license. Nowadays, MS 365 is usually already preloaded on computers. You can use it for a free 30-day trial, or input the product key when prompted to do so. In the unlikely instance that it is NOT preloaded, you can also download it from Microsoft and use it under the same circumstances (30-day free trial, etc.).
