• A:Answer The cable shown is a video cable for connecting the Surface to a monitor or projector. I own an 8600 N911g, and it does support wireless, but also supports USB. You need a USB cable (Type B to Type B) to hard-wire the Surface to the printer. • A:Answer I do with a spare HDMI cable. I also carry the Wireless Display adapter as well since it doesn't require a cable. Works great in hotels and conference rooms and keeps you from being tethered and confined to a particular spot (as long as your computer supports it though almost all PCs in the last few years do).
