It's Pro 6 but it is a special SKU for black Friday/best buy much like the Costco iteration of the surface go to entice shoppers into getting a "deal"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this earlier today when description said 6th generation. It never says 5th or 6th generation anywhere, but based off the specs, it is a 5th generation--CPU and GPU are both older versions only offered on the 5th gen. In the surface app it says the model name is Surface Pro m3 Model 1796. 99.5% sure this is the exact same unit as was released a year ago as Surface Pro 5's base model for $799 MSRP
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's the Pro 6 with 7th generation of Intel processor. The M3 version is the only one shipped with Windows 10 Home Edition because it's the entry level one.
