Not sure what you mean by “notebook compatible,” but I assume you want to know whether it runs standard Windows 10 programs with standard Windows interfaces. As a Microsoft product, the SP7 runs straight Windows 10 — not a modified version. The package I purchased from Best Buy comes with a magnetically-attached keyboard (that also protects the screen when folded), so it actually IS a notebook. It has the latest Wi-Fi chip (Intel chip AX201, which supports 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and Wi-Fi 6), a standard USB port, both USB-A and USB-C ports, Bluetooth 5, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a MicroSDXC card reader.
