QuestionI have a Surface Pro 5th generation from 2017. Are the power chords, Thunderbolt, keyboard, pen etc. compatible with the new model?

- Answer The power cords, thunderbolt and pen are compatible, but the keyboard port is different with this generation, so the old keyboard covers will no longer work.

- Answer Yes, but you have to upgrade Windows after purchasing. I bought both the Surface Pro and the Windows 11 Pro license at the same time from Best Buy and was emailed a license key to use to upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Pro.

- Answer It has a USB-C port for a second external monitor and there is also a Surface Dock available for purchase that has LAN and multiple USB-A and USB-C ports and supports multiple external monitors.
