• A:Answer I have not had this issue, but my co-workers had this happen, but when I checked their settings, I found that they accidentally enable tablet mode which disables the keyboard. If this is not the case for you, maybe check for updates or update your drivers???

• A:Answer Yeah... I'm almost positive these are interchangeable between the Surface Pro 4, 5 and 6 models. All 3 of those Surface Pro editions are so similar, you can barely tell them apart from one another by looking at the outside. (The 6's offer a version in black instead of silver/grey, though.)

• A:Answer I am not sure, but it's bigger by about half an inch (maybe less) on the 3 sides on a Surface Pro first gen, it fits like a glove on the Surface Pro 4. It's been a great keyboard and when they remade the replacement they did some nice user upgrades, key pad response, better construction on the covering, and the touch pad is much better than the first keyboard that came with my surface pro 4 originally

• A:Answer The keys on the Surface Pro Signature Type Cover are not covered in Alcantara and neither is the touchpad. All other areas are covered in the luxurious fabric. There are no notable feature differences in the two type covers other than the material and fingerprint ID key.
