It might work, but why would you wanna do that? This new one is bigger than those old ones. 295 mm x 217 mm vs. 279 mm x 187 mm Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried the Surface Pro 3 keyboard on a Surface 2, but I do know both keyboards share a common connector (I received a Surface 2 keyboard as a gift awhile back). The newer Surface keyboard is bigger than the Surface 2, however, so it will not fit as snug.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is the wrong size, for your unit you can buy the surface keyboard 2 at best buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Keyboard is sized to match the Surface Pro 3's screen size. You'll want to get the right one for your surface. If you're looking for a bigger keyboard you might want to look online for Surface 2 covers with Bluetooth keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I understand, each different Surface versions has its own keyboard. So no I do not believe it will work on a 2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses the same connector, so it will work, but I can't say if it will work at the angle. My guess is it won't. Also, this Type Cover is bigger, so it is compatible with the Surface Pro 3, so it would stick out if you use it with a Surface Pro 2. Unless you plan on getting a Surface Pro 3 in the future, I wouldn't recommend this keyboard for use with a Surface Pro 2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the surface pro 3 is a bit longer
