Well, after backing up your documents and other personal files to another drive, USB, Disc, etc., with a virus scan on them, if you do a clean installation, the Windows 10 installation should wipe your drive for you. After installation, you can use Windows Defender that comes with Windows 10 and do a virus scan on your computer, for a little piece of mind. If your looking to install Windows 10 saving your personal files, if offered during installation, I would do a couple of "Full System" virus scans first on your Windows 7 system. You can download a free or trial version of Malwarebytes Antimalware, and do a scan with that and do another anti virus scan using Norton, AVG, Avast, etc.. or whatever you have on your system now. Make sure to update the Virus Database first. Hope this helps.....
