I would look at the cost both ways as well as the time involved in shipping back and forth. I'm pretty sure you know this for yourself now, but I always make sure what the OS is when I'm buying a new system. One word of advice if you purchase Pro upgrade, make sure it's not OEM. I went that route once, it's cheaper. But when I had to replace the motherboard (I think that's what it was), I had to buy another copy of Windows. You can only do a single install with the OEM version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased windows PRO at same time as Laptop, When I tried to install it had problems, it refused to input my valid Key code. I contacted Microsoft support and they accessed my Laptop and resolved the Key conflict via WiFy t and not very long did it take them to do it, I have the cd but did not have to use it with their support. All you need is the Key code and they get the install done. I would have never been able to do it on my own. They did a good job of fixing the problem. Dan
