A:Answer The answer is probably Yes but consider this; Any windows 7 machine will be pushing the age barrier *min of 10 years* and now the questions is; Should you? I think that you would feel better with your data on another, more recent computer, maybe not new but newer.
Windows 10 will require more from your older Windows 7 build and now that windows 10 has been out for 8 years, and Windows 8 before that, my concern is some hardware on your current (OLD) computer will fail before you get settled into your Window 10 upgrade. If you are only a Home user, then do not purchase the Pro upgrade.
My recommendation is to Ask for help from Geek Squad to transfer your old Data to USB drive or to a newer device. The new machine will come with Windows 11.
FYI- Extended support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020.
