“I have an Xbox Controller charging dock made by NYKO. I was wondering if it would work with this? And does this controller have an area where I can plug in my Microsoft Xbox headset? (Not the USB headset)”

The battery compartment is just like any original Xbox one controller, so any battery pack that would fit in your controller now, should work with this one. This controller also has both the original headset adapter and a 3.5 mm port, making it compatible with most headsets.

Yes to both. As long as you have the battery packs for the nyko charger it will work. We have the Energizer dock and it works perfect. Also the headset ports cover the first gen compatibility, and the 3mm headphone style Jack.

This Sport Red Xbox wireless controller is compatible with any peripherals designed for Xbox One wireless controllers. It is also compatible with Xbox One Stereo Headset as well as most headsets that support a 3.5mm stereo headset jack.
