• Yes, it comes with a dongle that plugs into a USB port on your computer. When you remove the battery cover underneath, there's a place to store the dongle if you use the mouse in different locations.

• It is WIRELESS. Uses a very small receiver that plugs into one of your USB ports. Battery in the mouse and that's it. Computer should find the new device and install it. This is my second model of this mouse and love it. Like the fact that the wheel has some tactile feel to it.
