A:AnswerI talked to a Microsoft embassador over Twitter because my elite 2 has already broken after two months. And he said that there is a second iteration of the elite to coming out and that's why there are none on the shelves, the 1st iteration had multiple problems. I would be very suspicious about getting this product.
A:AnswerI spoke to a Microsoft ambassador over Twitter they said the product is not in stock because there's an issue with some of the features breaking, they pulled it from the shelf and are putting a new iteration out but they did not tell anybody about the broken controllers. My elite 2 is one of them with the long outstanding elite 1 bumper problem, my elite 2 broke after 2 months.
A:AnswerYou don’t just get that credit. You have to own the insurance plan on your controller and have a defective item obviously to activate the insurance. In that case you would bring it in, make insurance claim and receive your money back equivalent to what you paid for originally.
A:AnswerAs of now there is only BLACK. I wish they would have some variation. They always stick with the blacked out theme with the ELITE controller. I actually like the colored A,B,X,Y buttons. But they are always grayed out on ELITE.
A:AnswerThese controllers never went on sale originally and probably won't go onsale now. They are hard to find and in top demand. If you didn't pre-order you better pay up online.

A:AnswerIf you purchased the Geek Squad protection plan, you can file a claim in-store. If fulfilled, you will get a gift card with the amount you paid for the controller, plus applicable sales tax.
A:AnswerI think you have to set up a shift function on the controller using one of the paddles. Check out some Xbox you tube videos that might explain how to do that.
A:AnswerYou can always just order it as “pick up in store” since they aren’t in stock. What I did was order it on the Online with the Best Buy app and what they did was get a controller from another Best Buy that was in stock and shipped it to me. Easy as that. And if you don’t have a credit card to order it online you can always buy a Best Buy gift card.
A:AnswerI would say yes because the controller is a very helpful thing for people who wanna play competitively and want to try new mechanics but it’s only for certain people not all gamers would want it.
A:AnswerWhile it may be possible to use third-party paddles with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, we recommend purchasing official components from Xbox Support here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/
