Yes, 12 months of online access. Xbox Live Gold is now called Game Pass. Difference : Not only does it allows online access (Like Live Gold) It gives us lots of free games to play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It allows you to do everything Gold did on Microsoft's Xbox Network. They just rebranded it and instead of getting free games to download and you could play anytime(as long as you continue to be a Gold subscriber). You now have access to SOME of their Gamepass offerings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Basically yes. They did away with Gold to get people to buy Game Pass. I think they also got rid of the free games every month that Gold use to offer. They don't even offer this deal in their store which is ridiculous. If you don't want a monthly subscription based plan, this is the way to go
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Xbox Game Pass Core is not the same as Xbox Live Gold Membership. Game Pass Core is only compatible with the Xbox One, Xbox X and Xbox S series consoles. Xbox Live Gold Membership is compatible with all Xbox One consoles AND their two previous gaming console platforms. The original Xbox Console and the Xbox360.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep. They did away with that in favor of this, but it works exactly the same way by allowing you to play online along with the small bonus of being able to play a limited selection of games on Game Pass.
