This is based entirely on the SIZE of the games that you buy. For example, I just downloaded three games that were all under 2 GB big. At that rate I could download 44 to 50 games on a 1 TB hard drive. However, I also got the new call of Duty Modern Warfare, which was over 100 GB big. At that rate you can only get 10 to 12 games on this same machine. It might also be an idea to buy him a 2TB or 4 TB external hard drive to attach to the XBOX S1TB so that he would NEVER run out of space.

The number of games you can have installed at once on a 1TB hard drive depends on the size of the games. We recommend checking the install size of the games you want to install to see how many will fit.
