QuestionXbox said there will be more series x available at launch at retailers. Will you have more to buy inside the store, that way so when someone shows up 2 hours before you open they at least have a chance to get one?

- Answer From my experiences with console launches in the past they do try to send a few to each store for walk in customers on release day. I would definitely talk with management at the store as release date approaches and see if they will be getting a few to sell to walk-ins though do keep in mind with the demand of this console through the roof you will probably need to be camping out several hours if not days in front of store to secure one of those release day allotments. QuestionDo I have to have an xbox game pass to play games (old disc games) on the new xbox series x? I don't want the monthly/yearly fee because I don't play that much. Thanks!

- Answer Thanks for asking! No, a Xbox Game Pass subscription is not required if you are playing Xbox physical discs on Xbox Series X. An active Xbox Live Gold membership is required if you play games online, though.

- Answer Short Answer: Yes Long Answer: Yes, but it depends on the game. Not all 360 games are backwards compatible. Some of them even require a disc, others can just be a digital download if you own it already. There is a comprehensive list available on the Xbox website or TrueAchievements.

- Answer Thank you for your question! Dolby Atmos support is available for Xbox games, streaming apps, and 4K Ultra Blu-ray discs. You'll need a Dolby Atmos-enabled TV, soundbar, or home theater system — or you can activate Dolby Atmos for Headphones on your Xbox or Windows 10 PC (available for purchase or with select gaming headsets). Enable Dolby Atmos through the Xbox Audio settings page: Press the Xbox button to open the guide and select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output. Under HDMI audio, select Bitstream out. Under Bitstream format, select Dolby Atmos for home theater

Xbox Series X is also compatible with most external hard drives. Please note that games enhanced for Xbox Series X/S must be installed on its SSD and will not play from an external drive.
