Yes he can. Just make sure you are using the correct download for the console he is using. And yes, he will be able to. Just make sure you don't give anyone the code that will say they will help you and make sure you go to the microsoft store and select code or gift card and then you are done but it may take a couple of days to get the code or instantly

Yes, as long as the code works. Bestbuy.com will issue you a code to enter in order to download the game to the console. However, when we put in the code they gave us, it said it was already used. Now I'm trying to get a refund. We ended up downloading it directly from the Xbox store after connecting the Xbox to the internet.
