    • Answer Hi Pameileen, This does not come with a remote, however it's very easy to operate. It has two switches on the face of the unit that allow you to control the heat and flames independently of one another. It's a simple plug-in unit, so no installation required other than the assembly of the stand itself.     • Answer Hello, thank you for your question! The fire inserts get up to 89.6 degrees, they have a automatic safety shutoff if they overheat, and inserts have passed all tests needed to be deemed safe for use in a home.

    • Answer Hi David, The heat is from a COIL heater and is blown out by a fan inside the unit. It will heat up to 400 square feet. The heat output is 4400 BTU. Have a great day!
