While these two devices will work on the same TV they work independently of each other. When you wanted to watch the streaming device you would select the appropriate source option on your TV and when you wanted to use the antenna you would change the source to TV or Antenna. The reception success for the antenna totally depends on your location in relation to the towers in your area.
