• As long as your TV is Digital TV-ready, you should not need that box.

• This is an antenna only, not a digital converter. Unless you have a digital TV, you will still need a digital converter, to which you'll attach this antenna.

• As long as your TV is newer than 2009 (or if it has a built in ATSC tuner) you will not need a converter box. You can reach out to your TV's manufacture to see if your TV has the needed tuner needed to use a digital antenna.
