A:Answer Hi Timmy, after reading your question. I would say that if you are looking to mount this inside your home, in a lower level, like a den. Then yes, it could very well affect your antennae reception. Reason(s) being, it will be too low to or below ground to get a good, strong signal. 2., even when i had my at the highest point of my upstairs bedroom wall, near a window, my signal wasnt that good. I recently shared a post about my experience and what i did to alleviate the issue. May i suggest you take a look. I posted a couple of pictures to help provide info on how i set mine up. I am not familiar with your area code, but i would try setting it up outdoors, on a wall that's not near trees nor any form of power lines as this could cause possible interference as well. As for using it on your main floor, you may have better luck as it will be higher up than a lower room setting. The one thing you will have to do though, will be trial and error. You may have to move the antennae around a bit to see where you may get the best signal. Hope this helps.
