A couple of weeks ago my Moku leaf style antenna stopped working. I was getting no signal. I was playing around with it today because a thunderstorm knocked out my internet. I decided to unplug and remove the ac plug that I thought was necessary for it to work. I simply unscrewed the antenna coax from the ac junction box and connected it directly to the TV and it's working again. I guess it's supposed to boost the signal but now, I'm getting no pixelization on some channels like before. Some channels were showing an error but after using the scan channels feature to reprogram my Samsung it's working great and the picture is excellent. I just saved myself from purchasing another antenna and now have a backup if my internet streaming is not working and will be able to watch locally broadcast sports. I hope this helps. I don't know why they have an ac adapter unless it's for those folks living further away from the signal but I am getting a better picture without it connected. I live about 30 miles from ATL.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works on my nearly 20 year old TV that only has coaxial (I did have to get a digital converter box though since my old tv doesn’t have a digital tuner). You will need to plug the power into a AC adapter box however. But the tv itself doesn’t need a USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can use a USB wall adapter (not included) with the power inserter instead of a USB port on the TV.
