Yes. There is a small slider switch on the rear of the case just for this purpose. In the "Off" position, a bit of red is visible on one side of the switch. In the "On" position, a bit of green is visible on the opposite side of the switch. When the phone needs a charge, slide the switch as mentioned, then check your phone. You should see the + charging indicator next to the battery symbol on your phone.
