I've been using this case for several months and have had slightly better results than you report. I don't get a full charge from 10 to 100% but I usually see at least a 70% increase in battery depending on use while charging. The biggest reason you're not getting to 100% is that the battery in this case (2525 mAh capacity) is smaller than the battery in the iPhone 7+ (2,900 mAh capacity). This means that best case scenario, if 100% of that stored energy is transferred, you'll see an 87% increase in battery. Realistically, you're only going to see close to that if you turn your phone off and don't use it while it's charging, and that's assuming the battery case can still hold that full charge and nothing is lost in the transfer. As it's charging with the phone still powered on, the battery continues to deplete, so it may actually be giving you that 80% increase, but you may be using 30% of your battery during the charge time. (You could test this out yourself by depleting your battery to 5-10%, turning off your phone, letting the case charge it fully, and then turning the phone back on to view the results.) If your primary need is battery life, I would look into something with a larger battery or consider carrying a power bank which you can easily get 12,000+ mAh (3+ full charges) without breaking the bank (no pun intended). Personally, the extra 70% or so I get from the case is enough to get me through most any day of fairly heavy usage. The ease of wireless charging also makes sure it gets topped off regularly as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same here! I have used Mophie since 2010/11 and they used to give one full charge, literally 110%, and that was great! Now, the newer models give 40-50% - if you are lucky! Another problem is the case stops snapping as tight once you’ve taken the phone in and out a few times. I just recently lost the top to the case while shopping the other day- super bummed out by that! My husband’s broke off too and he tapped it on... almost feels like we shouldn’t have to do that... However, I like the new thinner design and the new power on design. The old design was clunky and the power on was easily activated by accident - not anymore! Also, the price is about 50% less- maybe since it’s made so cheaply? 50% less for 50% charge? I’ve tried other brands and Mophie has always been the best but they need to make these more resilient and way more powerful- seriously!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The juice pack for the iPhone 7 plus offers up to 60% extra battery. To get the most of your juice pack we recommend turning it on when your phone is at 20%. Please keep in mind usage of the phone while recharging it with the juice pack will result in less out of the juice pack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure why it doesn't fully charge, but when I used it, I activated the charger sporadically to keep my battery from getting to low. For example at 80% I turned it on until it hit 90, turned it off and repeated as necessary. Kept my 7 plus from draining too quick on my Disney trip when I was using it daily from 7am-midnight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put my phone on battery saving mode and when it gets down to 30%, I switch on the mophie case as long as you charged the case to 100%, it should charge your phone back to 100%. Make sure the battery case switch is not on till you need it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pack is designed to give maximum 60% charge to iphone when new and completely charged. 50% is pretty good for this battery.
