- Answer You cannot use an att branded sim card in a Verizon programmed phone unless you "flash" the phones stock to that of another carrier. In short no you can not use an att sim in a Verizon phone and vice versa. Side not best buy typically will not answer questions about straight talk as it is a walmart only service currently.
