A:Answer If this modem/router has Ethenet in connection, then it might work. FiOS' ONT has two jacks. One for MOCA, which is cable and an Ethernet jack where you'd hook up a Cat 5E or higher cable to your modem/router. When I upgraded my FiOS to 500mb up/down, I sent Verizon their equipment back and got something else (not this). I ran CAT 6 cable because they require Ethernet on anything faster than 100 mb up/down. After calling Verizon to kill the MOCA jack and enable the Ethernet jack in my ONT (and having a tech visit to ensure my ONT supports 1 gb speeds (it did), then my new modem/router worked fine and no more rental fees. So that is something you'll need to think of when you buy a modem/router. Also, this setup only works for Internet and TV (minus the Verizon cable tv guide since that needs moca adapter such as what is included in their equipment or in a Motorola adapter. I use streaming services, not Verizon's so I didn't need the moca adapter, but I did buy one anyways so I could use my existing coax cables to network my various rooms (and convert the signal back to Ethernet for the computers and Roku TVs that weren't using wireless).
I hope that helps.
