I have the metal band and haven't had any issues while running. There is no GPS in the watch itself however, you need to take along your phone for that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works out pretty good while I do the jogging .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I too use an HTC one on my arm when jogging. I have the steel band, and it works fine. However, the heart rate sensor requires being perfectly still to work while working out (not sure why) and can be a bit of a pain when I sometime have to make multiple attempts to get an accurate read.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not recommend this watch for jogging, however if you wear the band tightly then the leather band may be okay. I use a metal band and I like it a little loose so no good for jogging. If you really want a smartwatch to Jog with I think you would be better with items like the Fitbit Surge or any of the Garmin smartwatches which I also like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the metal band and it works fine for jogging. I like the fact it can keep track of my heart rate and steps while running. If you want to use GPS you will still have to bring along your phone -- the Sony Smartwatch 3 is the only Android Wear watch I am aware of with a built-in GPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yeah i have the metal watch and the weight isnt so bad but for running i use it all the time. there are a lot of running and gps apps that are available for download too which helps a lot with the experience. also it does fine with sweat because sweat will never do anything to this watch. ive had mine for months and nothing has happened to it what so ever. i think this watch is awesome for running but if you want less weight go for the leather but the thing is i never had leather so im not sure what it feels like
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's okay (Stainless steel band). The heart rate sensor isn't completely reliable after working out (it's requires a near-complete stillness). The metal band doesn't bother me, but it doesn't sit in one place as the steel band can't be set as tightly as the leather band. Sweat is no problem. Hope that helps.
