“How do I transfer pictures from this phone to my lap top? The cable that came with the phone worked one time and after that, my laptop does not recognize it. I am not getting the "allow this device" like I did the first time. Thank you in advance.”

There is an app which you can install on the phone and your PC (Windows, don't know about Macs) which enables transferring data (photos, mail, texts, ...) over Wi-fi. It's called "Link to Windows" on the phone and "Phone Link" on the PC. You can get one from Google Play Store and the other from Microsoft store - both are free.

Transfer pics to an sd card then put them onto the computer.
