Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Can all new applications, documents and misc. Files be directed to the newly installed SD. Also I purchased a PNY 128GB Elite X that I beleive utilizes A1 to run Applications directly from the SD Card. The card also is a SDXC and has V30 logo. I would think it seems to be a Perfect match for the G power. Comments Please!!!! I am going from Android 8.1.0 and going to Android 10 and expect no big changes although I have heard 10 handles access and running apps directly from the SD. Am I correct in thinking so? Please comment. Thank you in Advance! Mike R. If it was Win 10 I would know the answer. However I am not super on Android architecture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this has been a standard Android feature for a few years now and is still possible in Android 10.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the G7 Power (32GB) which I bought in November 2019. Yes, it is possible to install apps on the SD card BUT ONLY if the app developer allows it. Unfortunately there are many app developer who don't care about this and their app for no good reason can only be installed on the REAL internal memory. Of my 32 GB internal memory 27GB are used and of the 128GB SD card just 9 GB are used (just 4.2GB of that are apps). Microsoft OneDrive can be installed externally but Microsoft Edge or Firefox for example only run on internal memory. For that reason I strongly recommend getting only a phone with at least 64GB internal memory.
