I've have an issue with Android Auto and my Moto G6 almost every time I attempt to use it. At first I thought it was my car, then I used it on a different make and model and still had issues. Something goes wrong almost every time. I have tried various approved USB cables, but that didn't fix the issues. I went back to using my phone holder and just using Google maps and Pandora on the phone, and it works flawlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My g6 doesn't work on Android auto with 2018 mercedes a class. My memory is 84% full so whether that is an issue. I've changed the usb cable to a high quality one but still no joy. Other phones work on this car but not mine.

If your car supports Android Auto, it should map to the display screen when connected with a quality USB cable.
