- Answer Dear Customer, Yes, this unit should be able to balance one 27" and a one 24" monitors with no problems. However, if the weight discrepancy becomes greater (i.e. a 32" monitor and a 20" monitor) it may require you to bend the arms in to adjust the center of gravity on the weight distribution so that stand can balance properly. - Answer Yes. But there is a rivet, instead of tightening nut. This will wear and monitor will not stay in portrait or landscape very tightly after 20-30 rotates. I guarantee you this. Been building multi-mon flight sims for years. First rivet i have seen. How do you tighten a rivet? Total crap design. Fail waiting to happen. Returned

- Answer Yes, I did not remember when I assembled it so I went to rig and just rotated one of the monitors. See the picture. The one on the right is usually vertical. And these are 27 inch monitors.

Questioncan these mounts rotate? I have a 24" monitor and was wondering if this mount could hold it vertically. I also have a 27" that I will put horizontally (normally) on the opposite arm.

- Answer That will be a bit of a balancing trick because of the different weights, the smaller one will need to be "out" more away from the center. The mounts do not "rotate" but you can turn the mounts 90 degrees and screw in for permanently vertical (until you unscrew again). Pay attention to directions.

QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the actual footprint? I see 15" wide, but how much distance front to back? TYIA

- Answer footprint of base is roughly 12 inches front to back, but arms are extremely adjustable with bendable hinges. I had to pull "elbows" back to have monitors over the center-of-gravity, so it didn't risk tipping forward. (Tipping to side is a risk during assembly when only 1 monitor is mounted. Base is not very heavy. Catch it and adjust if it tips at first.) Avoided needing to drill a hole in desk to firmly mount below-above wood mounting plate, by balancing weight correctly.

- Answer The mounting pole is about 18 inches long. The monitor clamp is about 2” tall. To do as you propose you would need to sit the monitor stand on a rise or box to elevate it above your monitor.

- Answer it Can, but the base is not strong enough to hold it in a high position. you can use it if you use the adapt to clip it to the Desk. I used two 24"and it tilted forward all the time.

- Answer I didn't weigh it but the base is not thick and heavy to maintain balance. Instead, the adjustable arms move the center of gravity to the base doesn't need to be a huge metal brick.
