The inside of mine looks the same as the outside, stainless steel. I have a double-walled "stainless" steel mug that did get the brown coffee stains and I have read online that distilled white vinegar was one solution that would help to get rid of that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can also put denture cleaning tablets ---fill carafe with hot water and add 5 tablets for the first clean. Mine was dark brown too. Leave it overnight. wash it out. Repeat if necessary after the first 'big' clean. I do it every now and then to keep it in shape. Tablets fizz and I just buy a box of the house brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Put dishwasher detergent or a pod in the pot, fill the pot with very hot water (boil a pot full, or fill your reservoir and let your coffeemaker do it), let it soak, and rinse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 cup hydrogen peroxide and 1/4 baking soda mix in add to carafe let sit for 30 mins to 1hr. Pour out. 2) Solution add couple of denture tablets and hot water let set 30 mins. Use brush .... comes out spotless.... and you will be shocked at how nasty your carafe was...
