A:Answer If you have the same unit that I do, it says Mr. Coffee in a fancy font, across the center of the filter/coffee tray, which is immediately above the coffee pot? My model number is BVCM-EVX23, which is located on the underside of the unit, in raised lettering (unfortunately, it isn't in a different color than the unit, black in my case, making it difficult to see, unless u haven't put water or anything in yet and can turn the whole thing upside down to see it easier? Even then, I had to shine a flashlight on it so I could read it more clearly).
So, on the top, front section of the unit, where it says Mr. Coffee, look just to the right, where the rounded portion flattens out & is next to the numbering, telling you how many cups you are making, and you will see a finger's width, raised 1" section of the plastic, a "tab" per sé, where you can insert your finger, to open the filter/coffee holder. It swings out, and towards you, swinging open to the left. This "container" is where you put your filter, then your coffee grounds go inside your filter.
