• I believe it's compatible with all ryzen 5 series. I purchased a 5600x as well, had to reboot a couple times while the system adjusted but the BIOS did flash itself as well as upgraded blue tooth/wifi/etc without any input from myself

• Yes, the B550 Tomahawk MAX WiFi is compatible with the Ryzen 5000 series of CPUs. Please note that it may require a bios update, but that process can be done on this board without a CPU installed.
