- Answer No, you can open the back and you can replace RAM, SSD without dismantling the whole motherboard. It is not like some *cough* alien machine *cough*.

- Answer I don’t believe the CPU is but it pulls 75 watts at 4.3Ghz on all cores do you’re definitely getting the most out of the i7-10750H in this implementation. The GPU can be overclocked.

- Answer No, it won’t void warranty, I checked with MSI directly before adding another ssd myself, this laptop is ment to be upgraded.

- Answer I have this laptop, there are many modes / profiles you can have the computer on, I only hear the fans when gaming, lots of tabs etc I hear nothing, but when I am doing those things I try and stick on balanced or battery saver

QuestionAbove someone asked about Thunderbolt connectivity, someone answered its only needed for external gpu, which I've read is false. It helps with 4k connectivity, data transfer speeds etc.. Is there a version with Thunderbolt? Thats it and its PERFECT!

- Answer To Michael who keeps replying that you do not need thunderbolt unless you are using an external GPU, you are WRONG!! Many people have thunderbolt docking stations that they use to connect their laptops to all of their external monitors and peripherals. Without a thunderbolt port these docks are useless and you end up having to plug multiple plugs into your laptop in order to dock everything.

- Answer Depends on the exact model of the ge66 Raider that you buy, but from what I've seen, Best Buy sells both the 6 core and 8 core model. For the specific model that you posted the question on, it is a 6-core i7 10th gen processor.

QuestionThis laptop stopped charging when it reached 80% and I just had to unplug it, what should I do to make it reach 100%. It's been three days since I received this laptop.

- Answer I had the same problem when i got it last week. I did 2 things: Change the battery settings and make sure that the option for charging upto 100% is selected. Also 2nd thing that helped was that i drained the battery to 10% and then charged again. Let me know if this helps.
