A:Answer hi, unfortunately this laptop will not support that, because the cpu is intel 10th gen. they did not add pcie 4.0 support until 11th gen. however, i would not necessarily discount this laptop on that. a high quality 3.0 drive, like a samsung 970 pro, will provide loading speeds that are incredibly close to a 4.0 drive and the amount of money you will save on this laptop compared to most other rtx 3060 machines i think is much more compelling than marginal loading speed gains from 4.0. unless you plan on doing some serious video editing work or something of that nature. but then, i doubt you would be buying this laptop if so.
