I was able to put a 1tb in the extra slot, never tried 2tb...either way its super easy to do. If your able to get 2tb in and working please let me know.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for all the help from above. OK, I just successfully pulled this off by adding a 2TB ssd on the spare ssd slot. The way I see it, I don't think there is any limit on the size of that ssd (if I am wrong please correct me), if I have $1400 dollars, I will definitely try 8TB ssd, which is the biggest single ssd on market right now. I choose WD black SN750 (since my first ssd is also a WD Black brand). By the way, there is NO heat sink and thermal pad on that 2nd SSD slot, so make sure get that before hand.
