QuestionI'm not very familiar with GPUs / external monitors. I want to add a 4k or better external monitor to this laptop and run it with the lid closed. The laptop is QHD, but what is the limit for external monitors if I want to max out resolution?

- Answer I haven't personally tested on a 8k monitor or Tv , but this laptop is capable of doing 8K @ 60Hz / 4K @ 120Hz via HDMI port. You also have the thunderbolt 4 port in the back and the USB-C on side for up to 3 external monitors. P.S. I'm certain the TB4 is also capable of 4k (not sure about 8k)

- Answer Yes, this has a Thunderbolt port in the back. And No Mini Display port but you can add 3 displays via the thunderbolt port, USB-C port and HDMI 2.1 port.

- Answer You cannot use a heatsinked M.2 on the Vector GP66HX 12UGS-066 as the height of the drive will cause issues with you attempting to close the chassis.

- Answer Yes, there is one extra slot. ( 2 total ) I added this 2tb. WD_BLACK 2TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 5,150 MB/s - WDS200T3X0E ( cost to upgrade was $179.00 ) Also, I upgraded the memory with this Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 4800MHz CL40 Laptop Memory CT2K32G48C40S5 ( 2 slots total up to 64gb) cost to upgrade was $269.99 It's a beast
