Best Buy Protection that is included in My Best Buy Total memberships, did not replace Geek Squad Protection. Best Buy Protection is included in My Best Buy Total as long as you have an active membership, which is why you are required to renew the membership to get the full two-years of protection. AppleCare+ is also included with an active My Best Buy Total membership.
